Chicago to Vienna

Danny Chicago (Danny LoCascio) was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He taught in various international schools around the world before arriving in Vienna. For more than 20 years now, he has been performing music in music clubs in Austria and other countries including the USA. 

He is one of the top PUB musicians in Vienna, playing great songs that people love to sing along with. Danny also performs his original compositions and covers of Americana classics in the style of Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Jackson Browne. At his gigs, the audience requests songs from a list of over 200, so some call Danny a "Human Jukebox".

Danny also performs a BOB DYLAN TRIBUTE around Vienna, celebrating the songs of Bob Dylan in the acoustic Dylan style.

Danny is  a free-lance photographer and his book LOCKDOWN: Vienna Nights in the Time of Corona was published in Vienna with Home Town Media Publishers. / Metropole Magazine in 2020. 

His radio show, Danny Chicago's Blues Garage has been airing on Radio Orange 94.0 fm in Vienna for over 10 years. It celebrates local blues musicians as well as blue legends.
